Liverpool get their EFL Cup semi-final tie with Arsenal underway at last tomorrow night, with the Reds welcoming the Gunners to Anfield.

The first leg, of course, had been due to take place last Thursday with the Reds set to head to north London but, of course, a number of covid cases combined with injuries and call-ups meant the Reds had a request for postponement approved.

Hopefully, then, the Reds are back in better shape for the game tomorrow, with Jurgen Klopp revealing that Trent Alexander-Arnold is back in training - though Thiago Alcantara and Divock Origi are yet to return:

"Trent trained yesterday - Thiago and Divock Origi did not," he said in his press conference:

Anfield Watch Verdict

Klopp has got a few more options available to him than he did against Shrewsbury Town on Sunday afternoon and that is a good thing.

The Reds and Arsenal finally get to take each other on at Anfield tomorrow night, and it should be a cracking game between the pair.

Hopefully, the Reds can take a big step towards a trip to Wembley.
