Here we go, Liverpool about to sign their next Luis Suarez

Liverpool are about to sign their next Luis Suarez, and he's an incredible player.

The Uruguayan was a controversial figure in the Premier League. But among supporters at Anfield, Suarez was simply a hero.

He came at a time when Liverpool were probably going through their most unsuccessful period in their history. Suarez instilled hope and belief during that period.

He made an average manager like Brendan Rodgers seem like one of the best young managers in the league at the time.

He also gave Liverpool fans a renewed sense of optimism and belief. He made us feel like we belonged back to the top once again.

Suarez may not have won many major trophies, just the League Cup. However, he was one of the best ever players to play for the club.

Why Luis Suarez was so amazing

What made Suarez an incredible player is his ability to both be technically sublime and do unexpected things as well his drive and determination to never give-up.

Suarez was a fighter on the pitch. He just kept going, sometimes bulldozing his way past opponents. He had these subtle touches, the ability to turn at an instant and manipulate the ball.

Yet at the same time, there was a bite to him (no pun intended). He was a fighter. He was not afraid of physical battles. He held his own and sometimes even humiliated some of the best centre-backs in the league.

On his day, Suarez was one of the best forwards to not only play for Liverpool but in world football at the time.

Why Liverpool are about to sign another Suarez

Now there are strong reports emerging from Mexico that Liverpool are the favourites to sign Gilberto Mora. The Mexican wonderkid has caught the eye with his talent.

Despite not even being 18-years-old yet, he's played just under 5000 minutes for club and country. He has become a linchpin for his team at club and international level.

And now he's being eyed by the biggest clubs in the world. Why?

Well, it's because Mora has that Suarez ability in him. He's a technically brilliant player, capable of doing the unexpected. But he's also got that Suarez mentality on the pitch. Mora is a fighter. He is someone who will battle and battle throughout the game.

It's why, even though he might not be a striker, Liverpool are about to sign their new Suarez through Mora.
