Behind the scenes Liverpool aren't just buying first-team players, they are also building a team of future superstars.

This has seen the Reds be a lot more aggressive in the transfer market for U21 players. In the last year or so, they have signed Armin Pecsi, Mor Talla Ndiaye, Ifeanyi Ndukwe, Samuel Martinez, Lucca Brughmanns and Djylian N'Guessan.

The Reds have also secured the future transfer of Sidy Barhama Ndiaye and have invited Gambia U20 international Sheriff Bah on a trial ahead of a future move to Anfield.

There will be more acquisitions of the kind in the future. Diego Pelembe and Daniel Banjaqui are well-liked by Pedro Marques and there's also the possibility of signing Gilberto Mora from Mexico.
