Arne Slot confirms EXCITING Liverpool transfer talks
Arne Slot has confirmed Liverpool have already begun transfer talks ahead of the new season.
It's shaping up to be a busy period for the Reds. There's always excitement ahead of the summer transfer window but this window in particular is one that could be era-defining.
EXCLUSIVE: Richard Hughes targets TWO Serie A stars for Liverpool
Anfield Watch exclusively revealed months ago that the Reds are plotting big changes.
One thing that is to be expected is that Liverpool are going to enter the market to sign at least a no.9 and a left-back. In addition to that reinforcements may also be needed at right-back, centre-midfield, centre-back and potentially on the left-wing.
A lot hinges on what the future holds for the likes of Ibrahima Konate, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz.
All of them face uncertain futures at the club and if any of them leave, they will have to be replaced.
There's of course still a long way to go until the summer. We've only just entered May, but with Liverpool having wrapped up the Premier League title it seems like the Reds are already gearing up for next season.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool's game against Chelsea on Sunday, Arne Slot revealed to Sky Sports that he has already held talks with potential targets ahead of the summer window.
When reflecting on Liverpool's title celebrations at Anfield against Tottenham, Slot eluded to the club's supporter being a rhetoric argument in persuasions for prospective targets.
"That's also again a positive thing from what happened last Sunday," Slot said.
"When I talk to players in the past, last season or now, because we are working of course already towards next season, I always tell them we have one of the special, maybe the special fans of the world."
This pretty much confirms that Liverpool are in for a busy summer. The fact that Slot and the Reds recruitment team are already being proactive and talking to potential players is undoubtedly exciting.
Obviously, Slot didn't reveal any names but we might have a good idea about the players he could have spoken to already.
Milos Kerkez, for example, is high up on Liverpool's radar. Anfield Watch revealed Liverpool held talks with his representatives last year.
Then there is Hugo Ekitike, who Anfield Watch exclusively reported Liverpool held talks with last month.
This is just speculation of course in terms of whether Slot actually spoke to the aforementioned players. But Liverpool definitely hold an interest so it's possible that he might have.
