Wow! Liverpool have signed their own Eli Junior Kroupi and he's phenomenal

Liverpool have their own version of Eli Junior Kroupi.

It has been a remarkable transfer window for Liverpool so far, but unfortunately not for the right reasons.

According to some reports, Richard Hughes has been juggling two jobs at once, working on Liverpool business while also preparing for his reported move to Al Hilal. How much truth there is in that remains unclear, but either way, it is difficult to argue that Liverpool’s sporting director has handled this summer particularly well.

This was supposed to be the window where Liverpool corrected the mistakes of last summer. It was an opportunity to address the problems that were left unresolved and finally fill the obvious gaps in the squad.

Most importantly, Liverpool needed to find a suitable replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Yet, with less than 48 hours remaining before the window closes, those issues remain largely unresolved.

Liverpool are still desperately searching for someone capable of succeeding Salah, while a much-needed midfield signing also appears increasingly unlikely.

That leaves the club facing a frantic final few hours. What happens between now and the deadline could have huge consequences.

Liverpool have reached a crucial point in their rebuild, and the decisions made in the final moments of the window could shape the direction of the club for years to come. It may sound dramatic, but the next few hours could prove to be truly monumental.

Well, at least they could be signing a gem who might just be the next Kroupi.

The Frenchman was an important player in Andoni Iraola’s system because he offered exactly the kind of energy, movement and unpredictability the Bournemouth manager demands from his attacking players. Iraola’s football is built around intensity, aggressive pressing and quick transitions, and Kroupi was much more than simply a goalscorer within that structure.

His ability to press from the front was crucial. Iraola wants his forwards to force mistakes and win the ball back high up the pitch, creating immediate opportunities before opponents can reorganise.

Kroupi had the work rate and intelligence to contribute to that approach while also possessing the clinical edge to punish teams once possession was regained.

What made him particularly valuable was his versatility.

Although naturally a striker, Kroupi could operate as a number 10 or second striker, drifting between the lines and making clever runs into dangerous areas. That movement made him difficult to mark and gave Bournemouth another player capable of arriving in the box at the right moment.

Most importantly, Kroupi combined all of that tactical discipline with genuine finishing quality. In Iraola’s fast-paced, chaotic system, chances can turn up, and Kroupi had the instinct to recognise those moments and turn them into goals.

That made him a perfect fit for the way Iraola wanted Bournemouth to play.

Now Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool are going to be signing Djylian N'Guessan.

A player from Ligue 2, who has an incredible goal record for France's youth sides.

At U17 and U16 level, N'Guessan has scored 23 goals in 25 matches and registered two assists, averaging a goal or assist every 58 minutes.

Those are very impressive numbers and they are very Kroupi esque.

His positioning and technical qualities remind you of Kroupi as well. He's also the same height at 5'11 and takes up roughly the same positions. Capable of playing in the no.10 and the centre-forward role - just like Kroupi.

In many ways he is the carbon copy of the now Bournemouth forward and Liverpool have secured his signature.

It's a very exciting move and something to celebrate even if the summer window has been disappointing.
