An offer from Liverpool appears to have been confirmed by the player. The Reds are moving quickly.

Liverpool completed their first summer signing last week with Victor Munoz joining from Osasuna. They're not stopping there, though, and the Reds are on the hunt for new faces still.

That includes those who can represent the future, as well as the immediate senior squad. One such player is Andria Bartishvili, one of the standout talents from Georgia.

Bartishvili is still only 17 but looks set for a bright career. That's got clubs queuing for him from major European leagues as they hope to get the latest star from the country.

Geo_Team on Twitter reports that Liverpool and Arsenal have made 'identical' offers for Bartishvili. That's along with Paris FC, who hope to tempt the teenager with promises of first-XI football from the off.

And it appears it's true. Bartishvili himself put a screenshot of the report in his Instagram stories, seemingly verifying the claim.

This one might move quickly, then. Liverpool and Arsenal will both be eager to win the race for another elite talent, even if it's one who may not play a senior role for a little while yet.

Andria Bartishvili: Situation Summary

Iberia 1999 Career and Performance

As of 22 June 2026, Andria Bartishvili is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder playing for Erovnuli Liga club FC Iberia 1999, on loan from Kolkheti 1913. The technically gifted playmaker has enjoyed a rapid ascent in Georgia, earning the 2025 Under-17 Player of the Year award. Capable of drifting in from the left flank, his low centre of gravity, tight close control, and direct dribbling style have already drawn widespread comparisons back home to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Having already broken into top-flight senior football, his highly creative domestic performances have made him one of the most exciting young prospects in European football.

International Status and World Cup Involvement

Bartishvili is a prominent Georgian youth international who recently made his debut for the Georgia Under-21 national team. Because Georgia did not qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, he is not involved in the tournament in North America. Instead, he remains heavily under the spotlight in Europe. With his current club contracts set to expire at the end of the 2026 calendar year, elite Premier League sides including Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly actively working on competing deals to secure the teenage prodigy's signature.
