Deal agreed for exceptional 23-year-old
Liverpool’s summer transfer campaign is far from finished.
Deals are active for Bradley Barcola and Yankuba Minteh - although there needs to be some downward movement on the expected fees in the case of both wingers.
Barcola is available for around £120m per various reports as Paris Saint-Germain make provisions for the 23-year-old’s exit.
Brighton are gaining confidence over extracting the maximum fee for Minteh meanwhile and their valuation of the 22-year-old has climbed to £80m.

Whether Richard Hughes does business at those prices remains to be seen and there is a chance the 2024/25 Premier League champions walk away instead.
Outbound business needs to be wrapped up too - with Stefan Bajcetic, Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott all set to depart.
One deal that already has got over the line meanwhile sees Calvin Ramsay join St Mirren in Scotland on loan for the 2026/27 season.
It’s been a frustrating time at Anfield for the 23-year-old full-back - who joined from Aberdeen for a little over £4m back in 2022.

Since then he has spent most of his time out on loan across various spells at Preston, Bolton, Wigan and Kilmarnock.
The Scotland international was discarded all too easily by Arne Slot for some fans’ liking - particularly given the Merseysiders’ shortcomings at right-back last season.
Ramsay now has the chance to rebuild his career at St Mirren with manager Craig McLeish describing the defender’s talents as “exceptional”.

St Mirren thrilled with 'exceptional' Calvin Ramsay
"It's a really important year for Calvin where he needs to find regular football to help kick on his career and we're happy to give him that platform because we get an exceptional young player to add to our group," he said according to BBC Sport.
The move all but confirms Ramsay’s Liverpool career as over - seeing as he is out of contract in 2027.
Liverpool have allowed him to see out his contract on loan at another club and it looks as though he will be seeking to impress potential suitors in his season at the Scottish Premiership side.
He leaves Anfield having made the breakthrough under Jurgen Klopp - playing four senior games in total.
