Liverpool ready to announce three more transfer deals after signing €40m Victor Munoz
Liverpool have already announced their first transfer ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Victor Munoz, 22, has been signed from Osasuna after the Reds triggered the Spain winger’s €40m buyout clause.
The former Real Madrid youth signs a six-year deal for the outgoing Premier League champions and is the first step on the long road towards replacing Mohamed Salah.
Deals for other players will be done - with sporting director Richard Hughes willing to pay €100m to land Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
The Ivorian’s fate is yet to be decided but the Merseysiders will soon get clarity on their next THREE signings following the acquisition of Munoz.
Three more deals on the way
A report in the Athletic is claiming that three deals are imminent for the club at youth and academy level - a huge boost as the Reds try to improve their options through the age groups.
The likes of Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni are leading lights in Liverpool’s post-Brexit UK and Ireland recruitment drive - graduating to become first-team squad members.
Others such as James McConnell and Luca Stephenson have also walked that pathway - with more deals in the process of being concluded for leading young players.
Mulholland, Jikiemi and Trinder incoming
“Liverpool’s youth recruitment drive this summer is expected to include the arrival of striker Michael Mulholland from Northern Irish side Crusaders, Celtic defender Dara Jikiemi and goalkeeper Zach Trinder from Wolverhampton Wanderers with other deals in the pipeline,” the report reads.
Liverpool secure signings of top young talents
Mulholland, 15, is reported to have scored over 250 goals in a single season at youth level for his original club - and is expected to be placed with Liverpool’s under-18 setup.
Jikiemi has been on the radar for a long time now and having turned down a contract at Celtic the way has been paved for the Scottish centre-back to move to Anfield.
And goalkeeper Trinder - who played at U18 Premier League level last season aged only 14 - is expected to become one of the best goalkeeper prospects in the country over the coming seasons.
The arms race for the greatest young talents in the land is never really over - and in the next deals coming through Liverpool will have managed to tie up three of the best.
