Andoni Iraola still has a lot of work to do at Liverpool.

The Spaniard has been brought in to try and improve things at Anfield after a rather lacklustre fifth place finish during the 2025-26 season.

Indeed, Richard Hughes needs to help him out by signing a few more players but, as long as Iraola instils his way of playing into his new players, things should go a lot smoother than they did last term.

In terms of signing players, Victor Munoz has obviously already been brought in which is a boost in itself but, now that the World Cup is finished, the Reds should be getting a little more active in the market.

That is, as long as they still have enough money to spend have their £450 million spree last summer.

Liverpool should try and sign Estevao now Morgan Rogers is joining Chelsea

Chelsea have been in the transfer headlines once again after they agreed a deal with Aston Villa for Morgan Rogers.

The Englishman had a fairly solid 2026 World Cup which led to him being signed by the Blues for £117 million.

Rogers is set to become the most expensive English player ever, breaking Elliott Anderson's record from the same window.

However, since Chelsea already have an awful lot of attacking options among their ranks, it feels like some of their players could be moved on.

And, since Rogers can play anywhere across the front three and as a number 10, Estevao may start to get a lot less playing time than he deserves.

The Brazilian was one of Chelsea's stand-out players last term as he featured in 36 games across all competitions for the Premier League outfit.

During those games, the 19-year-old played in several positions with his main one being as a right-winger.

He scored eight goals and made four assists for his teammates which proves how effective he was when called upon.

Estevao would probably welcome a move to Liverpool this summer

As mentioned, aside from Joao Pedro, Estevao was easily one of Chelsea's best players last term.

The youngster set the Premier League alight and only slowed down when he endured a grade four hamstring tear towards the end of the season.

This did force him to miss out on the 2026 World Cup but, since this was his first injury of that kind, it shouldn't be a long-term issue.

Chelsea didn't manage to qualify for the 2026-27 Champions League which means that none of their players will feature in Europe's premium competition.

Indeed, this may not be an issue for some players due to the wages that they're being paid but, for others such as Estevao who are at the start of their careers, they'll want to feature in those sort of competitions as soon as possible.

So, the fact that Liverpool scraped their way into the competition could be a major selling point for them.

Obviously, no concrete links have emerged just yet but, if Chelsea continue signing players and add even more attackers to their ranks, which they're bound to do, Estevao could easily seek a move away,

And, if he does this, the Reds should be the first in line, especially since they've still not signed a right-winger to replace Mohamed Salah yet.
