Liverpool can solve all their issues with one transfer, it’s not Ismaila Sarr
Liverpool had a lot of issues that they needed to solve this summer.
Andoni Iraola probably came to Anfield expecting things to be a bit easier than they were in Bournemouth.
However, even though he's managed to remain unbeaten during his first two Premier League games, it still feels like a lot of changes need to be made before the Reds are back to their best.
Several players such as Ismaila Sarr have been linked with a move but, it's not him who Liverpool need to sign.
And, that's because, there's one specific player who would be the perfect solution to their attacking problems.
Kevin Schade would be the perfect player for Liverpool to sign this summer
Now that Liverpool no longer have Mohamed Salah among their ranks, their attack is going to look a lot different.
For the last few years, the Egyptian King has been their main source of goals and assists.
Admittedly, he didn't play to the best standard last season but, he still contributed to 22 goals across all competitions which is fairly impressive.
Obviously, Victor Munoz has been signed to try and help plug the gap up front and, while the Spaniard may be starting to look like Liverpool's next Sadio Mane, bringing someone with a bit of Premier League experience into the squad could be massively helpful.
That's why someone such as Kevin Schade would be a smart purchase.
The German attacker is entering his fourth season as a Premier League player this term and over the last couple of campaigns, he's contributed to 25 goals across all competitions.
Schade can also play anywhere across the front three which, for a team under Iraola's control, is essential.
He's also only 24 years old which means that he could grow into an even better player than he already is.
And, after his performance for Brentford in their 1-1 draw with Leeds United on Sunday, it's clear that he's ready to make the next step in his career.
Liverpool have been linked with Schade in the past so, them re-igniting their interest now would make plenty of sense, especially with how little depth they have up front.
Kevin Schade's performance in numbers vs Leeds United
Over the last couple of years, Schade has quickly become one of Brentford's best attackers.
When Bryan Mbeumo left the Bees, nobody knew how they'd manage to plug the gap that he left behind.
The 27-year-old was easily their best player as he managed to bag 70 goals in the 242 games he played for them.
However, Schade managed to come in and take the reigns with his statistics from Brentford's 1-1 draw with Leeds United proving that he's a perfect player for Liverpool to eye.
According to Sofascore, throughout the clash, he managed to have three shots and scored Brentford's only goal of the game.
The German made one key pass in the 88 minutes he featured for and successfully completed 50 per cent of the dribbles he attempted.
Defensively, the attacker was fairly solid as he managed to win 100 per cent of the tackles he attempted and was only dribbled past twice.
Schade also managed to reach a top speed of 34.4 km/h (21.3mph) which is extremely fast and something that Liverpool could definitely do with up front.
Of course, a deal for the 24-year-old would cost a pretty penny but, when the Reds are being quoted over £60 million to sign an almost 29-year-old Sarr, signing Schade for less than that feels like a much better idea, especially with the form he's been in recently.
