It's official, wonderkid can now join Liverpool
Liverpool have an exciting player who is now able to officially join them.
Roma was not built in a day, and neither will the Reds be rebuilt in such a short space of time. The simple reality is that both Andoni Iraola and Julian Ward need time.
Unfortunately, in football time is rarely afforded. It's not a patient game. Especially nowadays with so much demand on social media about everything. Fans have short memories and in an age of TikToks and Instagram reels, there's rarely any time other than instant gratification.
That's the world we live in. And that is why as soon as one result goes against Liverpool, the pressure mounts on Ward and Iraola.
But those of a rational mind will understand it will take time for them to get the Reds back on top.
Liverpool's plans for their rebuild and Julian Ward's next steps
The good thing is that the foundations are there. Liverpool have a lot of exciting young players, the only thing that is missing is the balance within the team.
Ward knows who he needs to build the team around. There are enough future superstars in the squad. Dominik Szoboszlai, Jeremy Jacquet, Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz and Bradley Barcola all have what it takes.
What Liverpool need right now is players to balance them out. In midfield, there's a need for a Fabinho type midfielder. Then there's the right-back question. Liverpool still need to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Behind the scenes there are also a lot of exciting young players. Like Lucca Brughmanns, Djylian N'Guessan and Samuel Martinez.
Exciting Ifeanyi Ndukwe update confirmed
Now, undoubtedly one of the players with the most potential Liverpool signed is Ifeanyi Ndukwe. The Austrian youngster who stands tall at 6'7 and is still growing, caught the eye in pre-season.
But then when it came to keeping him at the club, Liverpool were unable to do so. That's because he didn't qualify for a work-permit and Liverpool's only ESC spot (which is an exemption) was taken up by Mor Talla Ndiaye.
So Ndukwe had to go out on loan. He joined Levante, where he had an eventful first start to his senior career scoring a last-minute winner in La Liga.
Ndukwe also played really well in his second start and he's continuing to catch the eye.
Now the Liverpool ECHO are writing that Ndukwe's has qualified for a work-permit and he is able to officially join Liverpool. However, the plan for now is for him to stay at Levante.
