It's coming, Liverpool bid is imminent for superstar
A bid is coming for Liverpool, this is going to be exciting.
Liverpool are heading into what could be one of the most transformative summers in the club's modern history. Change is coming on multiple fronts, with a new era set to begin at Anfield following Arne Slot's departure and the arrival of Andoni Iraola.
The Spaniard's appointment signals a significant shift in direction. Widely regarded as one of Europe's brightest coaching talents, Iraola has been handed the responsibility of guiding Liverpool through the next stage of their evolution. He is expected to arrive alongside several trusted members of his backroom staff, bringing with him the high-octane philosophy that earned widespread praise during his time at AFC Bournemouth.
That philosophy should have a visible impact on the pitch. Iraola's teams are known for their aggressive pressing, vertical attacking play and relentless intensity—qualities that many supporters will recognise as hallmarks of Liverpool at their very best.
The changes are unlikely to stop there. Training sessions, match preparation and even individual player roles are expected to be re-evaluated as the new coaching staff implement their methods. In many ways, it marks a reset for a squad entering a new phase of its development.
Yet the appointment of a new manager is only one part of a much broader overhaul.
Liverpool's transformation this summer is expected to extend far beyond the dugout, with significant changes to the playing squad also on the horizon. As the club looks to build the foundations of its next great team, several familiar faces could depart, while a new generation prepares to step into the spotlight.
Replacing Mohamed Salah will be one of Liverpool’s most demanding tasks this summer. His impact from the right flank has been so significant that the scale of the void he leaves behind is difficult to exaggerate.
For several seasons, Salah has been much more than Liverpool’s primary attacking threat. He has been the focal point of the forward line, the player the team instinctively looked to in decisive moments, and the constant reference around which their attacking play was structured.
What has separated him from almost every other elite forward is his consistency. Where even top attackers typically experience dips in form, Salah has delivered elite-level numbers year after year since arriving at Liverpool, producing goals and assists with striking regularity.
That reliability is what makes his departure feel so significant. Even in campaigns where he may not have appeared at his absolute peak, he has continued to provide decisive contributions - turning tight matches, rescuing points, and carrying the team through difficult spells.
Time and again, he has proven himself in the moments that matter most, whether by scoring crucial goals, creating chances out of nothing, or raising the team’s level under pressure.
Just as importantly, his game is defined by its versatility.
Salah is not a traditional winger who relies purely on pace and width. He drifts inside onto his left foot, exploits half-spaces with intelligent movement, links play effectively with teammates, and finishes with the composure and efficiency of an elite centre forward.
To replace Salah, there really is one option in the market right now. Michael Olise will not be on the move. Yan Diomande however is on the market.
He's the best right-winger available right now and Liverpool have made him their no.1 target.
Diomande is brilliant. He's fast. He's excellent in one vs one situations. He's only 19-years-old, and he is a superstar. He can make things happen out of nowhere.
Like Salah, he's got that ability to win games single-handedly and make an impact on the pitch all by himself. He's a generational talent. An absolutely incredible player and it looks like Liverpool's move to sign him is now imminent.
According to the ever reliable Indy Kalia, Liverpool have submitted their first bid for the Ivorian star.
There's no update about whether it has been accepted. The chances are that the first offer won't be. However, it's a situation to keep a close eye on.
