Reports are now growing that one Liverpool star will quit the club this summer. His final match is on Sunday.

Is Curtis Jones about to leave Liverpool? He certainly wouldn't be alone in doing so. It feels like half the squad is about to say goodbye to the Reds.

Mohamed Salah certainly will, along with Andy Robertson. Ibrahima Konate's contract is about to expire, too, and it doesn't look likely that he renews at this stage.

Alisson Becker is another strongly linked with an exit - Juventus wish to sign him with a year left on his deal. And then there's Jones.

Jones nearly joined Inter in January, only for the deal to collapse. They're reportedly still interested, however, as his price should be quite low with only one year on his contract.

In fact, reports are growing. Corriere Dello Sport and Tuttosport both report that Inter would like a deal for Jones. Both are notable reports, too.

The CDS report says Jones actively wants to leave Liverpool and intends to do so this summer. Tuttosport give a reason why - he's fallen out with Arne Slot.

Signs continue to point towards an exit, then. It seems Jones is ready to call a day on his time at his boyhood club, despite once being touted as a one-club man.

But then, it doesn't exactly feel as though this is his ultimate choice.

Curtis Jones: Situation Summary

Liverpool Performance and Stats

As of 20 May 2026, Curtis Jones has retained a significant role in Liverpool’s midfield despite a difficult campaign under Arne Slot. The 25-year-old academy product has made numerous rotational appearances, including starting five consecutive games recently. He played the full 90 minutes in the 4–2 defeat to Aston Villa on 15 May and provided an assist in a 3–1 victory over Crystal Palace in late April.

Transfer Speculation and Friction

Jones' future at Anfield has come under intense scrutiny as he enters the final 12 months of his contract. Reliable reports from 18 May confirm that Italian champions Inter Milan are planning to resurrect their January interest with a summer approach. Liverpool value the midfielder at roughly £35 million. Amidst stalling contract talks, reports suggest a strained relationship with Slot, further fuelled by Jones publicly interacting with social media posts critical of the manager.
