Liverpool have less than two weeks to finalise their first-team squad.

And, although some fans may think that they already have an idea about how their team is going to look, plenty of changes are still expected to take place at Anfield.

Many areas of their squad were just not up to scratch last term and, without making these changes, it's hard to figure out whether Liverpool will do well or not, even with Andoni Iraola at the helm.

Several different players have been linked with Liverpool in an attempt to bolster their ranks but, there are still several new rumours emerging every week.

And now, yet another player has popped up as a potential option for the Reds to explore.

Liverpool have made an enquiry for Dario Osorio

Liverpool's attack is the main area that they want to upgrade at the moment.

Mohamed Salah has exited which has left the Anfield outfit in a bit of a pickle.

At the moment, there are hardly any right-wingers available on the market that would actually improve Liverpool.

This has led to Rio Ngumoha being used probably being used there this season with Ibrahim Mbaye also mooted to be on his way to Anfield.

Lewis Koumas and Federico Chiesa are two other options that Iraola could explore but, realistically, none of them are good enough to be regular starters.

That's why the Reds seem to be planning for the future with a fresh update from Danish outlet Campo suggesting that Liverpool have now made an enquiry for another right-winger.

"According to Campo's sources, clubs such as Liverpool, Everton, Leeds United and AC Milan also have a good eye on Osorio, to such an extent that FCM has received several specific inquiries about Osorio and the possibility of buying him this summer," they wrote.

"FC Midtjylland will certainly hope that more clubs will show up and that the bids will start to fall, so that the price will skyrocket and exceed the 150 million kroner that has otherwise been rumoured in the market to be the price tag."

Dario Osorio could be a smart transfer for Liverpool

Dario Osorio has obviously already been linked with a Liverpool move in the past.

The Chilean is one of FC Midtjylland's most important attackers as he contributed to 18 goals across all competitions last term.

Although he plays best when used as a right-winger, Osorio was also deployed as a number 10 and a a striker throughout the 2025-26 season.

Versatility is key in footballers these days as, without it, clubs are vulnerable to injury crisis's that could de-rail their entire season.

Something similar to this happened to Liverpool last term with almost every single player they used at right-back getting injured.

The fact that other Premier League clubs are also showing an interest in Osorio proves that, on paper, he's a very good player.

And, even if the deal doesn't end up working out how everyone wants it to, it would only cost them around £11.75 million so it would basically be a no-risk move for a team of the Reds' stature.

Here's hoping that a deal can be struck for a new attacker soon, otherwise, the Reds are going to struggle.
