Liverpool could reportedly make a move for an £18 million Premier League winger

Liverpool could make a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore, according to The Mirror, as cited by LFC Transfer Room's Twitter account.

The 25-year-old is reportedly available for £18 million. With that being the case, the Reds are considering making a move for Traore this month.

There is no denying that Traore possesses talent. Footage of the the 25-year-old highlights that he does possess plenty of flair.

But, we don't want to see Liverpool sign Traore. The reality is, the Spain international has only scored 10 goals and registered 18 assists in 151 appearances for Wolves.

The aforementioned figures highlight that Traore lacks end product. At the end of the day, a forwards job is to score and create goals.

Therefore, we would prefer to see Liverpool spend their money elsewhere. Hopefully The Mirror's story is incorrect.

The January transfer window has only just opened, so it will be interesting to see if the Reds do sign any players in the next few weeks.
