Liverpool have a really exciting wonderkid who could be even better than Rio Ngumoha.

The Englishman is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about young players in world football. After back-to-back outstanding performances in the Champions League and some frankly ridiculous dribbling numbers, the Liverpool youngster has caught everyone's attention.

And it's not hard to see why.

Ngumoha is beginning to show exactly why Liverpool were so desperate to bring him to Anfield from Chelsea. What looked like a brilliant piece of business at the time is already starting to look like one of the most fortunate moments in the club's recent history.

When Ngumoha made the move to Merseyside, one of the biggest reasons behind his decision was the promise of a genuine pathway into the first team. He wanted the opportunity to develop, play senior football and prove himself at the highest level rather than spend years waiting for his chance elsewhere.

How Liverpool have developed Ngumoha

Liverpool have certainly delivered on that promise.

At just 18, Ngumoha has already made 39 appearances for the Reds and earned his senior England international debut. That's a remarkable amount of experience for someone so young, especially when you consider the level of competition he's facing and the expectations that come with playing for Liverpool.

But it's the way he's performing that really stands out. Ngumoha isn't simply getting minutes because he's a promising academy graduate. He's making things happen, taking defenders on and producing moments that genuinely get supporters off their seats. There's a fearlessness to his game that you simply cannot teach.

And the scary thing is that he's still got so much room to grow.

Ngumoha has that rare combination of explosive pace, close control and confidence that can make him almost impossible to defend against. If he continues developing at this rate, there's no telling just how far he could go.

Liverpool may have found themselves a superstar. And if Ngumoha fulfils even a fraction of his enormous potential, the Reds could have one of the best players in world football on their hands.

Liverpool could have an even better player than Ngumoha

The truth is that Ngumoha isn't alone in terms of the young players on the Reds' books who could have what it takes to be the world's best.

In fact Ifeanyi Ndukwe could prove to be an eve bigger talent than Ngumoha himself.

Think about it. The Austrian wonderkid showed he was an absolutely outstanding centre-back in pre-season. He has it all with his 6'7 frame and his composure on the ball.

Now as a mere teenager making his firsts steps in senior football, Ndukwe is proving he has what it takes to hold his own and actually excel in La Liga.

Given his profile, and the way he is performing, he has everything to surpass even Ngumoha's levels in the future.
