Anfield Watch reported back in April that Liverpool saw a real opportunity developing for them to sign Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds are long-term fans of the French forward.

And Barcola's lack of game time with PSG has long looked like opening the door for him to leave. Adding to that is their reported interest in the likes of Yan Diomande and Julian Alvarez - Barcola is set to have his minutes cut even further.

Now Le10Sport claims that Liverpool have decided this opportunity is one they can't afford to miss. They're now pushing harder than ever before to sign Barcola.

It appears that the club have decided he's the one - the big-money signing for the summer to boost a failing forward line. There is, by all accounts, also a desire to sign Diomande but it may be that his star has grown to the extent where Liverpool don't see value for money anymore.

RB Leipzig won't let him go cheaply, after all.

But Barcola? PSG will be open to negotiation as they rejig over the summer. And Liverpool, it seems, are hoping to take full advantage of that.

Bradley Barcola: Situation Summary

PSG Performance and Stats

As of 10 May 2026, Bradley Barcola remains a standout performer for Paris Saint-Germain, recording 10 goals and one assist in 26 Ligue 1 matches. The 23-year-old forward maintains an impressive FotMob rating of 7.41 and played 90 minutes in a 2–2 draw with Lorient on 2 May. He has been pivotal in PSG’s Champions League campaign, including goals against Chelsea and an assist in the 2–0 win over Liverpool in April, as the club prepares for the final against Arsenal on 30 May.

Transfer Speculation

Barcola is currently a high-priority target for Liverpool and Arsenal. Reports from 10 May suggest he is "very keen" on a move to Anfield, potentially as a successor to Mohamed Salah. Arsenal are also reportedly considering a €70 million raid for the Frenchman.

International Standing

Despite a severe ankle sprain in March, Barcola remains the frontrunner to start on France's left wing for the 2026 World Cup this June.
