Football Insider is the latest to suggest that Liverpool have Kolo Muani on their summer shortlist. It’s a wild suggestion, really, given the Frenchman has had a dire spell at Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Now, Spurs players almost certainly aren’t as bad as they’ve looked. Most of them have plenty of elite football under their belts and Kolo Muani is among them.

There are undeniably reasons why Liverpool might sign him. The striker is versatile and does have previous as a dangerous player - he just hasn’t shown it at all in the Premier League.

Last season? Absolutely. Kolo Muani had eight Serie A goals in 16 games for Juventus and looked like a star. He’s just entirely failed to adapt to the Premier League.

Is that the kind of player who can boost Liverpool’s struggling attack? It feels unlikely but it increasingly looks like it’s something the Reds want to try.

Randal Kolo Muani: Situation Summary

Tottenham Performance and Stats

As of 27 April 2026, Randal Kolo Muani’s loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur from PSG is nearing its conclusion. The 27-year-old has endured a difficult domestic campaign, managing just one goal and one assist in 26 Premier League appearances. His average FotMob rating of 6.32 reflects these struggles, though his European form remains a sharp contrast; he has recorded four goals and two assists in nine Champions League matches, including a goal in a recent 3–2 win over Atletico Madrid.

Transfer Speculation and PSG Stance

With Tottenham languishing in 18th place and Kolo Muani’s loan set to expire this June, a permanent move to North London is unlikely. PSG are reportedly open to a permanent sale for a fee between €22–36 million. Liverpool have emerged as strong contenders, with reports from 23 April suggesting they view him as a versatile attacking option. Juventus, where he enjoyed a successful loan spell in 2025, also remain interested.

International Standing

Kolo Muani remains a regular in Didier Deschamps’ France squad, recently featuring in a 3–1 win over Colombia in March. Despite his mixed club form, he is expected to be part of the Les Bleus squad for the 2026 World Cup this June.
