The Netherlands have qualified for the 2022 World Cup after defeating Norway 2-0 in De Kulp.

With that being the case, Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk will play in his first World Cup next year.

As you can see pictured below, the Dutchman was quite emotional come the end of the clash against Norway, and we can understand why.

Van Dijk is 30 years old. The World Cup only comes around every four years. Therefore, next year could be Van Dijk's only chance to play at a World Cup.
