Liverpool top a list of Premier League wonderkids as their incredibly bright future looks more certain than ever. This is certainly exciting.

Liverpool have made it their mission to snap up the best wonderkids in the country and beyond. That's been a consistent plan over the last couple of years, including in 2026.

Of course, it's something that every Premier League club wants to do and competition for the players is fierce. Still, Liverpool have done incredibly to get the likes of Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni to Anfield.

But those two are already in the first-team setup. What about those still to come? The Daily Mail has had a look at the next generation of stars set to break through at Premier League clubs

And Liverpool certainly stand out.

Liverpool's wonderkids are on the way

Of the 16 youngsters named, Liverpool boast three of them. This is more than any other club mentioned in the article, highlighting just how bright the future is here.

So who are the players?

Josh Abe is one, which shouldn’t surprise anyone. The winger is arguably the hottest prospect yet to debut and there was plenty of speculation this summer that other Premier League clubs were willing to spend big to get him.

Abe instead renewed his deal with Liverpool and is now set to break through to the senior setup. Potentially this season, even.

Next is Mor Talla Ndiaye, who only joined the club earlier this year. Ndiaye, one of the stars expected to shine for Senegal over the next decade, is an 18-year-old centre-back who can already be seen in the first-team squad.

Again, we expect a debut to arrive shortly.

And finally there’s Will Wright. A goalscoring phenomenon, Wright joined the club from Salford last year and has been remarkable. He’s made a permanent move into the Under 21s at just 18 and keeps on scoring goals - six already this year.

That included a brilliant goal against Rochdale’s senior team in the Jersey Mike’s Trophy. Wright genuinely looks ready, and may be another to debut in the Premier League later this year.
