PIF blueprint to bring Mo Salah to Saudi Pro League REVEALED
The Liverpool future of Mohamed Salah was plunged into further doubt last week.
The superstar forward admitted that he had NOT been offered a new contract by the Reds despite the fact that his current deal expires at the end of the season.

Salah took the opportunity last Sunday to remind onlookers that he was currently ‘more out than in’ at Liverpool owing to a deadlock in contract talks. Liverpool fans will be hoping the situation can reach a resolution before Salah’s head is turned by other interested parties.
Saudi pre-contract agreement proposal
The 32-year-old is free to speak to overseas clubs regarding a free transfer in little over a month’s time with Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal now reckoned to be the favourites to do a deal.
Last summer it was Al-Ittihad who made a play to sign Salah but their efforts fell short despite offering Liverpool an estimated £150 million transfer fee. However, it’s now reported that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) is growing in confidence about signing Salah next summer for one of its flagship clubs, a list which includes Al-Hilal.
According to TEAMtalk, Saudi negotiators will wait until after the January transfer window to resume talks with Salah’s entourage and attempt to convince the Egyptian King to sign a pre-contract agreement.
De Bruyne also WANTED
That would lock out the possibility of staging late talks with Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and also deny potential European suitors the chance to take Salah on a free transfer. It’s reported that Salah’s Saudi deal would be for two years, including the option for a third.
It goes without saying that a deal in Saudi Arabia would make Salah among the highest-paid players in the world. TEAMtalk claims Salah IS open to the idea of moving to Saudi Arabia even though his preference at this stage appears to be remaining on Merseyside.
Meanwhile, as part of the same report, it’s claimed that Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne will be subject of the same treatment by the Saudis in an attempt to convince him to move to the Middle East when his terms expire in 2025.
