€100 million superstar leaves MASSIVE Liverpool transfer hint
Liverpool’s first summer signing has already been confirmed, and more are on the way.
On Friday Jeremie Frimpong was officially announced as the first addition to Arne Slot’s Premier League winning squad, but a number of other deals are progressing too.

Potentially the most exciting story is Liverpool’s pursuit of Florian Wirtz for what could become a British record transfer fee.
The long-awaited arrival of Milos Kerkez at Anfield is reportedly getting close too and, whilst Liverpool’s players may be taking some time off, Richard Hughes is hard at work.
Arguably the most spoken about position at Liverpool going into the transfer window has been the striker spot, and one of the Reds’ top targets may have just dropped a huge hint that he is Anfield-bound.
Hugo Ekitike leaves Liverpool transfer hint
Multiple truly elite strikers have been mentioned as transfer targets for Slot and Hughes this summer, and Hugo Ekitike reportedly sits near the top of the club’s list.
Anfield Watch exclusively revealed back in April that talks had begun to bring the Frenchman to Merseyside, and since then a number of other reports have confirmed that Ekitike is being seriously considered by the club.
Now, the 22-year-old forward may have just dropped a huge hint that he is in line for a move to Merseyside.

When Liverpool officially announced the arrival of Frimpong on Friday, some keen eyed supporters noticed that Ekitike had been quick to like the club’s announcement post on Instagram, despite not following Liverpool, the Premier League or Frimpong on the app.
Whilst the two will obviously know each other from their time in the Bundesliga, they have only faced off three times in the competition and Ekitike’s like could be much more than a simple show of support.
Will Ekitike sign for Liverpool?
The Eintracht Frankfurt striker is one of the most exciting talents in Europe and his 34 goals and assists this campaign show why he is so in demand.
Liverpool aren’t the only club pursuing him however, with Chelsea and Arsenal also linked, and Frankfurt’s reported asking price of up to €100 million could also prove a sticking point.
The Reds are in a very healthy financial position and a number of high-profile departures are also expected. This could lead to a record spend at Anfield.
If deals for Wirtz and Kerkez are complete, a €100m move for Ekitike could prove too expensive but if the player pushes for a move to Merseyside then Liverpool may be able to knock down Frankfurt’s asking price.

It remains to be seen if Liverpool will move for a striker this summer, but Ekitike liking the club’s Frimpong announcement could definitely be a hint at where the Frenchman wants to play his football next season.
