Liverpool eyeing fourth £100 million signing for January

One of the key weaknesses in the squad that Liverpool failed to address in the summer is the right-wing position.

With Mohamed Salah no longer at Anfield and Federico Chiesa out injured, the Reds are left with no natural option on the right side of their attack.

Several players have filled in so far this campaign but one of the top priorities for the recruitment team at Anfield in the coming windows will be to sign at least one winger who is natural on the right-hand side.

There are many available targets that have been linked with a Merseyside move but there are a few who stand out, and a fresh report claims that Liverpool are keeping tabs ahead of a big money move.

Rayan is one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League.

The Reds were linked with the Brazilian before he made the move to the Cherries and new boss Andoni Iraola is obviously familiar with the 20-year-old's game having managed him for the second half of last season.

Now, according to a report from TEAMtalk, Rayan could move on from the south coast in the near future, and Liverpool are 'particularly keen'.

Multiple reports have made it clear that the Cherries value the forward at over £100 million, a spend that Liverpool have committed three times in the past 18 months.

There is nothing to suggest that the Reds won't continue to spend the way they have since winning the Premier League in 2025, but the signing of a fourth player for over £100 million would be unprecedented.

The club have already become the first to field three players that cost over £100 million at the same time, and if reports are to be believed then that figure could rise to four.

Liverpool will have the perfect opportunity to asses just how highly they value Rayan on Sunday when they visit the Vitality stadium, and a strong performance from the Brazilian could encourage the Reds to action their interest.

Although he has scored twice in the Cherries opening six games in all competitions, Rayan is yet to score in the Premier League this campaign, but opening his account for the 26/27 season against the Reds would be a show of quality from the Brazilian.

A winger will no doubt be a priority, and if Rayan can continue to impress then Iraola could be reunited with the wonderkid he signed just under a year ago.
