Liverpool and Man United contacted about transfer of wonderkid
Liverpool have a fair few positions among their ranks that still need to be upgraded.
The Anfield outfit have fallen behind their title rivals quite dramatically recently with most of their players failing to perform to the standards expected of them.
Indeed, it isn't all the players' fault as, with a new manager at the helm, they're obviously going to need some time to get adjusted to the new way of doing things.
But, one way for Liverpool to combat this poor form is by signing new players.
Many different options have been linked with a move to L4 and now, the Reds have actually been contacted about the potential transfer of one wonderkid.
Intermediaries have contacted Liverpool about the potential transfer of Lennart Karl
Liverpool still haven't replaced Mohamed Salah.
And, even though many different players emerged as potential options for the Reds to explore in the summer, no deals came to fruition.
Since then, fans have speculated about what the future has in store for Liverpool's attack with some players such as David Otorbi and Michael Olise being mooted as potential options.
Obviously, nothing is set in stone yet but, thanks to a fresh update from TEAMtalk, a new option for the Reds to explore seems to have just emerged.
"Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are among the clubs alerted to Lennart Karl’s ongoing situation at Bayern Munich, with sources telling TEAMtalk that the German wonderkid could become one to watch heading into 2027 if circumstances do not improve," they wrote.
"Nevertheless, TEAMtalk has been told that intermediaries have been making calls as clubs keep a close eye on the situation. Should Karl’s circumstances fail to improve, sources suggest that his future could become a significant talking point heading into 2027.
"Arsenal and Liverpool are both well aware of developments, having previously pursued the player before he opted to sign a new deal with Bayern.
"Manchester United have also been alerted to the situation, potentially putting three of the Premier League’s biggest clubs on notice.
"The interest is not limited to England, either. Barcelona and Real Madrid are understood to retain an interest in Karl, having both tried to sign him when he was just 10 after he impressed at a youth tournament.
"That early attention reflects the reputation Karl has built over several years, although his current situation at Bayern is now a different proposition from the one he faced as a young academy prospect."
Lennart Karl would be an incredible signing for Liverpool
Right-wing is probably one of Liverpool's main problem areas at the moment.
Even though they did add two new attackers to their ranks, neither of them are natural right-wingers.
Indeed, most of Iraola's wingers can play comfortably on either side but, bringing someone such as Karl in would be massive.
Even just having a natural right-winger as an option could turn the Reds' fortunes around in an instant.
Indeed, he is still young at 18 years old and still has a bit of growing up to do, but, for the right price, the German could end up being an insane coup.
At the moment, it's anyone's guess what the Reds are going to do in the future but, for now, Karl feels like a rather exciting option for Liverpool to have.
