How are the stars Liverpool loaned out getting on?
Liverpool have become synonymous with developing some of the best youth players in world football.
The Reds have excelled in developing academy stars into first-team ready footballers, with many graduates of the Kirkby academy now playing regular football for senior sides across Europe.
Some of these academy players progress straight into Liverpool's first team, like Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni, but for many others going on loan is a massive part of the development process in Merseyside.
Several stars have been sent out on loan before becoming first-team regulars at Anfield in recent years, with Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott and Conor Bradley just some examples.
The Reds have 11 players out on loan currently, but how are they getting on?
How are Liverpool's loanees doing?
Two of Liverpool's loanees are players who are yet to actually link up properly with Andoni Iraola's side yet.
Lucca Brughmans
Lucca Brughmans joined the Reds in the summer for a fee of up to £30 million, but the Belgian 'keeper remained at Genk on loan for the 2026/27 season.
The 18-year-old has played every minute of Genk's Jupiler Pro League campaign so far, starting eight games and keeping three clean sheets, with his distribution receiving high praise.
Brughmans isn't quite ready to be a first-choice in the Premier League, but Liverpool will have no complaints about his loan move so far.
Djylian N'Guessan
Djylian N'Guessan is set to join Liverpool in a £4.3 million deal from Saint Etienne in January, but the 18-year-old is spending the season on loan at Stade Brestois in Ligue 1.
After coming through the academy at Etienne and making 13 appearances for the fist-team, N'Guessan was recruited by Liverpool and is now gaining experience in the French topflight.
Due to his age and relative inexperience, the striker has been limited to brief cameos off the bench in the league, playing 28 minutes across three substitute appearances.
The French U20 international is very much one for the future, and the Reds will be encouraged to see him already breaking through into the first team at Brest.
Harvey Elliott
Harvey Elliott is certainly the best known of Liverpool's loanees, having made 149 appearances for the first-team.
Now on loan at Valencia, Elliott has had a mixed star to life in Spain, initially receiving criticism for his fitness and effectiveness in La Liga.
The 23-year-old seems to be heading in the right direction however, and has received praise for his recent cameos from the bench.
Elliott is yet to start a game for Valencia, which will concern his parent club, but hope no doubt remains that the Englishman can win a place in the starting XI and get his career back on track.
Ifeanyi Ndukwe
Ifeanyi Ndukwe was a standout performer in Liverpool's preseason after joining from Austria Wien in the summer.
The 18-year-old didn't qualify for a UK work permit however, so was sent out on loan to Levante for the season.
Ndukwe has now made five appearances, the last three of which were starts, for Levante and has quickly settled to become a regular in the Spanish side's defence.
Having made enough appearances to now qualify for a work permit, Ndukwe's stay in Spain could be cut short in January, but the Reds may choose to keep him at Levante if he continues to thrive.
Calvin Ramsay
Calvin Ramsay is spending the season on loan back in Scotland with St Mirren.
The 23-year-old right-back has started every game so far in the Scottish premiership, asserting himself as a key figure in the side.
With a contract expiring in June, it is unlikely that Ramsay will ever play for Liverpool again, but he will no doubt find another home easily if he continues to perform for St Mirren.
After failing to make an impact during a right-back injury crises under Arne Slot last season, it seems unlikely that the club will renew Ramsay's deal before it expires.
Armin Pecsi
Armin Pecsi is one of Liverpool's most promising young goalkeepers, with aspirations to eventually become the undisputed number one at Anfield.
The Hungarian shot-stopper is currently on loan with TSV Hartberg in the Austrian Bundesliga, where he has started every game in the league so far this season.
Pecsi has only kept one clean sheet in 10 appearances, a stat that may worry some, but the 21-year-old is gaining valuable experience and playing at a higher level than he would be for Liverpool's U21s.
The young 'keeper doesn't yet look ready to come in and compete for the number one spot at Liverpool, and another loan move feels likely next year, but his performances in Austria are not a massive cause for concern.
Calum Scanlon
Calum Scanlon re-joined Cardiff City on loan after signing a new long-term contract with the Reds this summer.
Having made eight appearances for Cardiff in the second half of last season, helping them gain promotion to the Championship, things looked promising for the young left-back heading into this campaign.
After starting in three of his first four appearances in the Championship this season, the 21-year-old has found himself out of the starting XI since, making six appearances off the bench and being an unused substitute once.
Of his six cameo appearances, only one has lasted more than 20 minutes and the Englishman's reduced role will be a concern for Liverpool, who could consider recalling the fullback in January and looking for a different loan move.
Keyrol Figueroa
Keyrol Figueroa has made three substitute appearances for Port Vale so far this season, scoring his first goal in the most recent.
Liverpool will hope that the 20-year-old forward can earn a place in the starting XI soon, but will be encouraged by the Honduran's start with the League Two outfit.
Kyle Kelly
Kyle Kelly has made six starts and four substitute appearances for National League side Forest Green Rovers this season, scoring and assisting once from the midfield.
The 21-year-old appears to have nailed down a place in the starting XI and is playing regularly, albeit at a relatively low level compared to some of his peers who are also on loan.
Kieran Morrison
Kieran Morrison has started four times and made six substitute appearances for Sheffield Wednesday this season.
The 19-year-old has recorded three assists, all in League One, but has struggled to nail down a starting place despite playing the full 90 minutes twice.
Liverpool will hope the youngster continues to receive consistent opportunities and can carry on delivering even with limited minutes.
Kornel Misciur
Kornel Misciur is spending the season on loan with Leek Town FC in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and has made four appearances in goal.
The 19-year-old will no doubt benefit from playing senior football, but spending the season playing non-league football is likely a reflection that Misciur is still some way from being ready for Liverpool's U21 side.
Amara Nallo
Amara Nallo made three appearances, all starts, for HJK Helsinki before picking up a lower leg injury that cut his loan spell short.
The 19-year-old has now returned to Liverpool and will undergo his rehabilitation at the Kirkby training facility.
