Bundesliga club are reportedly interested in Liverpool goalkeeper
Bundesliga side Furth are interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, according to KICKER, as cited by LFC Transfer Room's Twitter account.
The Bundesliga club are reportedly looking to replace the injured Marius Funk. With that being the case, Furth could make a move for Karius either in January or the summer.
The 28-year-old would be open to a move back to his homeland. Karius' contract expires at the conclusion of the current season, which means that he will be a free agent in the summer.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Liverpool signed Karius from Mainz for a transfer fee of €6.20 million back in the summer of 2016.
Despite the fact that the shot-stopper has been at the club for five years, he has only made 49 appearances for the first-team.
Karius has not represented the Reds since the 2018 Champions League final, which Real Madrid won 3-1.
The German's time at the club has clearly come to an end. Hopefully Liverpool can sell Karius in January so they receive a transfer fee.
