Andoni Iraola told how much it will cost for Mo Salah's successor

Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool's best player over the last few years.

So, the fact that he's now packed his bags and has exited Anfield means that a new era is on its way to L4.

At the moment, Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak seem to be picking up most of the slack with both players finally getting back to their best.

Indeed, others such as Victor Munoz and even some of Andoni Iraola's midfielders have chipped in with a goal here and there.

And, even though Bradley Barcola was signed towards the end of the transfer window, Liverpool could still do with welcoming at least one more attacker through the Anfield doors.

Several different players have been linked as potential options but now, the 2024-25 Premier League champions have been told how much it'll cost them to get a deal for their perfect Salah successor over the line.

Throughout the summer, several right-wingers were linked with a Liverpool move.

Ismaila Sarr and Yankuba Minteh felt like the most likely deals to go through but, in the end, none of those moves ended up working out.

Brighton and Crystal Palace both wanted far too much money for their right-wingers which made Liverpool keep hold of Gakpo and work with what they had.

And, even though that seems to be working now, if things such as injuries occur, the Reds will be in deep trouble.

So, the fact that Sportowy have now shared how much Liverpool would need to pay to sign one of their long-term targets is certainly a step in the right direction.

"Estevao is attracting increasing interest in the European transfer market," they wrote.

"According to Ekrem Konur, the 19-year-old Brazilian international, who moved from Palmeiras to Chelsea in the summer of 2025, is being monitored by FC Barcelona and Liverpool.

"Despite interest from other giants, the London club has no intention of parting ways with the talented winger.

"Estêvão also remains on Liverpool's roster. The English club is evaluating young players who could strengthen their attacking lineup in the future, and considers the 19-year-old to be one of their players with significant potential.

"The fee that could prompt Chelsea to at least consider negotiations is believed to be around €110-120 million. Estêvão's current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is around €80 million."

Liverpool's attack may seem to be doing well at the moment but, if they get a couple of injuries, they're screwed.

The Anfield outfit's starting XI is obviously extremely strong but, looking at the rest of their first-team squad, there are only really two or three players who could genuinely challenge the others for a starting spot in Iraola's plans.

Obviously, when some return from injury things will be a bit better but, right now, two or three injuries would absolutely ruin the Reds' season.

Last season, Estevao was one of Chelsea's best players with the Brazilian only missing out on the World Cup due to the injury he suffered.

Since his return from the summer, he's played an important role for Alonso and, since he's exclusively played as a right-winger for the Spaniard, he'd easily be able to fill the void left by Salah.

Obviously, it would take the 19-year-old to get to the same level as prime Salah but, with how young he is and how good he already is, it feels like even for €120 million (£102 million) he'd be a worthwhile purchase.
