Star entering crunch talks ahead of incoming Liverpool offer

A star is expected to enter crunch talks ahead of a Liverpool offer. The Reds will move for him shortly.

Liverpool are preparing their major moves for 2027. There will be major moves, after all, as their 2026 business wasn't really up to scratch.

The Reds failed to address several key areas of their squad, instead signing two left wingers. They'll need far more to arrive before this is a balanced group, though that doesn't necessarily mean spending lavishly.

For one, Liverpool seem very focused on finding the next generation of stars. That includes moving for one of the hottest properties in South American football right now.

An offer is expected.

Liverpool to move for Tomas Aranda

El Intransigente reports that Liverpool are in the market for Boca Juniors playmaker Tomas Aranda. They're actually expected to make an offer shortly as the race hots up for him.

Aranda has been out injured quite seriously. That's halted teams actually making proper moves for the 19-year-old but that'll change shortly.

His 'market value' is around €9m, says the article, but Boca hope to get ahead of Liverpool's offer. They're going to negotiate with Aranda to increase his current release clause.

It doesn't actually say what that clause is, though we imagine €9m. Boca would almost certainly consider that a robbery, such is the hype around their youngster.

We'll see whether Liverpool value Aranda beyond that. He's playing regular senior football when fit, though, which you'd think would command a much higher fee for someone so young and in an attacking role.

Time will tell, then. But this is a name to keep in mind as Liverpool continue their pursuit of the best young talent around.
