Liverpool will only have to pay £60m to sign perfect Mo Salah replacement

Mohamed Salah is exiting Liverpool and there's nothing that anyone can do about it.

The Egyptian King may not have been at his best this season but it still feels like the attacker should've been given one more campaign to finish things on good terms.

Instead, the 33-year-old will be leaving L4 without adding another trophy to their cabinet and leaving a massive void for them to fill.

Sure, everyone knew that this time would be coming but, until Liverpool and Salah announced that he'd be leaving for nothing at the end of the current campaign, nobody expected it to come so soon.

However, now that his exit is upon us, the Reds are clearly going to have to try and source his replacement with the Anfield outfit now being told that they'd only have to spend £60 million to get the perfect player in.

Juventus only want £60m for Francisco Conceicao this summer

Several young wingers have already been linked with an Anfield switch this summer.

Yan Diomande, Kevin Schade and Bazoumana Toure have been among the most strongly-linked but now, a new player has entered the frame.

Francisco Conceicao is hat player and, he has been one of Juventus' best attackers this term with the 23-year-old contributing to four goals in his last nine Serie A games.

And, because of this recent form, Liverpool's interest has been piqued with Corriere Dello Sport sharing how much money it would take to prise the Portugal international away from the Old Lady.

"At least there's no doubt about his name. Conceicao is one of the few successful signings by Juventus in the last two seasons. He turned 23 in December, has enormous potential, and is a justified investment," they wrote.

"Giuntoli acquired him on loan for €10 million, and Comolli bought him for an additional €32 million. The total is close to €45 million, which is why Juventus would only part with him for a mountain of money.

"€70 million would be needed to convince Juventus to let him go, generating a substantial capital gain. It's a highly complicated, if not impossible, scenario, but there is some interest in the Premier League.

"Liverpool, anticipating Salah's imminent departure , are looking for attacking wingers and are also keeping an eye on the Juventus player, a surefire contender at the World Cup alongside Portugal's Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva.

"He's part of the squad, and coach Martinez will surely call him up. The American showcase could increase his visibility."

Why Fancisco Conceicao would be a good signing for Liverpool

Although Conceicao may only have eight goal contributions across all competitions this term, his versatility is second to none.

He's mostly played as a right-winger for Juventus this term but there has been the odd occasion when he's been used as a second striker or even as an attacking midfielder.

This versatility is exactly what the Reds need from their Salah replacement after the number of injuries that the team have suffered this term.

Conceicao is also only 23 years old so, even though he's already a fairly impressive player, there's plenty of time for him to grow and perhaps even exceed his £60 million price tag.

Indeed, the fact that this season is only his second within one of Europe's top five leagues is a tad concerning but, if he can carry over his form from the latter end of the campaign to the start of 2026-27, the Reds would be onto a winner.

So, even though other players such as Anthony Gordon and Diomande have been consistently linked with an Anfield switch, on paper, Conceicao could actually be the better option for them to explore.
