Liverpool plan to get £20m for maestro with ZERO Premier League games
Liverpool want to bag £20m for a player they haven’t actually used this season. They might just do it, too.
Liverpool are set for a summer of change. The Reds are looking to overhaul their squad despite winning the Premier League - a bold move, honestly.

But the club feel that there’s more to come from the Arne Slot era. This, after all, is what he can do with a group of players he merely inherited.
Give Slot a squad built for his playing style, much as Jurgen Klopp was afforded, and Liverpool should absolutely fly. But that also means making some tough decision on who to cut loose.
The Reds plan on securing an awful lot of money through player sales in 2025. Darwin Nunez is at the top of that list, with Saudi Arabian clubs wanting to snap him up.
Anfield Watch revealed back in January that there was a £70m offer, though one the Reds ultimately rejected. It’ll be accepted if it returns after the season is over.
But that’s just one massive sale. There will be plenty of other sales that should double that amount when all tallied up.

Liverpool plan Tyler Morton exit
Tyler Morton very nearly left last summer but the failed Martin Zubimendi deal kept him at Anfield. Liverpool wanted to make sure they had a midfield maestro on their books, just in case the Ryan Gravenberch experiment failed.
It didn’t fail, of course. It was an absolute revelation and Gravenberch has been arguably the Premier League’s best midfielder this season.
Slot’s decision to stick with players he trusts week in, week out meant the likes of Morton haven’t really had a look-in. The academy graduate hasn’t featured once in the Premier League all season.
The Athletic reports that as a result, Morton is expected to finally leave the club this summer. What’s particularly notable about that is the asking price: £20m.
Liverpool had a similar one last summer but clearly believe his lack of football this season hasn’t diminished it at all. They’ll still want every penny.
They might just get it, depending on the competition for Morton. His performances on loan in the Championship have always suggested that he’s a top player - just one who hasn’t had the opportunities at Anfield.

Hopefully, there’s a good move on the way for him, then. He certainly deserves it after sitting out this season.
