Liverpool legend could PUSH forward to join Saudi giants
Liverpool are set for a radical overhaul in the summer transfer window. We could see several new faces arrive - starting with Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerez.
But plenty of current Liverpool stars could be on the move too as sporting director Richard Hughes and head coach Arne Slot clear space in the squad.

Among those tipped for a departure in recent weeks has been Luis Diaz. The 28-year-old has been at Anfield since January 2022 - and is coming off the back of his most successful season to date.

But with a contract which expires in 2027 - and little chance of signing a new one - he could sold this summer. Barcelona would love to add the Colombian international - but saw their initial efforts to discuss a transfer rejected by the Reds.
Sadio Mane tipped for Al-Nassr exit
That said, if the right bid were to materialise then it is likely that it would be taken under consideration by club bosses. And one of the teams closely associated with a bid for Diaz lately is Al-Nassr of the Saudi Pro League.
A Diaz arrival in Riyadh, furthermore, could be very much tied up with the fate of a Liverpool legend already at the club.
Sadio Mane, 33, won all the top prizes during his time at Anfield before moving to Bayern Munich in 2022. He scored 120 goals in 269 games for Jurgen Klopp, etching his name into club folklore.
His transfer to Bayern wasn’t very productive and just one season later he was on the move to Al-Nassr.
It’s fair to say the forward’s spell in the Kingdom hasn’t lived up to expectations - with Mane going trophyless alongside Cristiano Ronaldo over the last two seasons.
Diaz to REPLACE Mane again?
According to Senegalese source Wiwsport, Mane looks set to be cleared out by club chiefs this summer in order to make way for fresh arrivals.
And the players named in the report ready to take over from Mane? Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.
Diaz has effectively replaced Mane once before - arriving midway through the Senegal international’s final season at the club before occupying his usual left-wing berth.
Now he could be about to push Mane out of Al-Nassr altogether. Mane’s international side are in the UK this week to take on England in a friendly but the legendary captain won’t be among the travelling party.
