Liverpool make offer for €80m Real Madrid SUPERSTAR
Liverpool have been in contact with a two-time Real Madrid Champions League winner, who is “tempted” by the prospect of moving to the Premier League.
That’s according to the latest reports in Spain, which claim the forward could be forced out of the Bernabeu in favour of Bukayo Saka.

Saka led from the front as Mikel Arteta’s side completed a two-legged demolition job on the 15-time European champions in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
In typical Madrid fashion, they now reportedly want to sign Saka to make up for their own attacking deficiencies. The England international is only under contract at the Emirates until 2027, leading to speculation that he could be tempted away.
Rodrygo out, Saka in?
“Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez, impressed by his maturity and balance, consider Saka the ideal profile to maintain the competitive level of the Real Madrid attack if a multi-million-dollar sale of Rodrygo or Vinicius, both tempted by offers from the Premier League, PSG, or Saudi Arabia, ultimately takes place,” a report in Todo Fichajes reads.
And the same report claimed Rodrygo has held talks with Liverpool AND Manchester City over the terms of a transfer.
“Rodrygo, meanwhile, has received offers from Liverpool and Manchester City, and although he has publicly stated he wants to stay, competition with Mbappé and Endrick could push him to seek playing time elsewhere,” the report states.
The 24-year-old has scored 68 times for Los Blancos in 265 matches, holding his own in an all-star attack alongside Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius, as well as Jude Bellingham.
However, given Madrid’s galaxy of stars, it’s been suggested that the Brazil international could be the one squeezed out to make way for further signings.
Rodrygo previously linked
It’s been reported previously that Liverpool were interested in adding Rodrygo, but only at a fee of €80 million, which probably wouldn’t be enough for Madrid.
He’s usually stationed on the right, where Mohamed Salah plays, and so a sky-high fee for a back-up is not likely to be considered by the Reds.
However, he is also capable of playing left-wing and even at centre-forward, offering a world-class option for Arne Slot in several other positions until Salah departs.

The former Santos starlet was close to joining the Reds back in 2019 before he ultimately ended up at Madrid. His current contract runs until 2028.
