£40m Liverpool title winner wanted by Brentford to REPLACE departing star
Several current Liverpool stars have likely played their final game for the club with big changes expected at the Premier League champions this summer.
Among those tipped for the exit is Caoimhin Kelleher. The Irish goalkeeper is out of contract in 2026 and the Reds are going to have to cash in sooner rather than later.

If Liverpool don’t manage to sell the 26-year-old this summer then they risk losing him for free at the end of his current deal. Given the Ireland international’s current valuation is around £40m, that is not a scenario the club would be happy to entertain.

Kelleher has got ambitions to become a No1 goalkeeper in his own right - having spent six years in the shadow of Alisson Becker.
Brentford eye Kelleher
Although Kelleher has performed well as a deputy, there is no realistic probability of him ousting both Alisson and new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili to become first choice at Anfield.
Now a new escape route has opened up for Kelleher, who has previously attracted interest from plenty of Premier League clubs.
Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle are among the teams who have been linked with Kelleher in the past couple of transfer windows but now a new contender has emerged.
Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken, 31, is reported by TBR Football to be keen to join Erik ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen. And with the Dutch international leaving the Gtech Community Stadium, a starting spot will open up.
The same report cites Kelleher as a potential replacement for Flekken, although the Bees have got several other names on their list.
Kelleher wants to leave
Others include James Trafford, Joan Garcia of Espanyol as well as Guillaume Restes of Toulouse, Yahia Fofana of Angers and Zion Suzuki - who has impressed in Serie A this season at Parma.
In the midst of Liverpool’s title party on Sunday, Kelleher again disclosed his future plans - stating that he believed he was ready to become a starting goalkeeper in his own right.
