Liverpool star ready to accept CONTROVERSIAL £30m Everton move
It promises to be a summer of big changes at Anfield. Liverpool are on the cusp of a first Premier League title since 2020 but sporting director Richard Hughes isn’t standing still.
There could be incoming deals for Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez of Bournemouth, while targets are also being looked at in midfield and up front too.

FSG are not prone to throwing money around and so it is likely that several current first-team stars will be leaving in order to make way for the new arrivals.

Strikers like Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota could go - as well as wingers Luis Diaz and Federico Chiesa. Offers could well be heard for midfielders like Tyler Morton and Wataru Endo and in defence there promises to be alterations too.
Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas and even Andy Robertson could be at risk, as well as promising young centre-back Jarell Quansah. It was previously reported that the 22-year-old would be available this summer, with Liverpool seeking around £30 million.
Jarell Quansah in shop window
Having recently signed a new long-term deal, the homegrown defender is sure to bring in a decent fee and there hasn’t been a shortage of interest from around the Premier League either.
Clubs such as Brentford, Newcastle and Bournemouth have all been mentioned as potential next destinations for the England squad member but there is one more controversial move on offer closer to home.
Liverpool’s city neighbours Everton have also been linked with Quansah since Michael Keane is out of contract in summer and Jarrad Branthwaite is in demand by several other teams.
While a move to Bramley Moore Dock would be controversial it wouldn’t be unprecedented. The likes of Nick Barmby, Don Hutchison, Abel Xavier, Gary Ablett, Conor Coady and Sander Westerveld have all featured on both halves of Merseyside.
Quansah would take Everton move - scout
And according to one former ex-Everton scout, Quansah is next in line to join them. “This wouldn’t be the first time a Liverpool player has joined Everton,” Bryan King told Goodison News.
“Therefore, I couldn’t see that being a problem, and I think Liverpool will sell to the club that makes them the best offer. In addition, I’d imagine Quansah would be quite happy to move across Stanley Park.
“He is probably already living in the Liverpool area. Therefore, a move to Everton wouldn’t cause him or his family too many problems.”
In an ideal world, Liverpool would probably prefer not to strengthen the Toffees.

However, if it comes down to the highest bidder then FSG will have no qualms about sending Quansah over. After all, as a homegrown player, his transfer fee would count as “pure profit”, giving an additional boost to the club’s transfer spend.
