Scoring pair could join Liverpool after INCREDIBLE goal
The pair behind the weekend’s most talked-about goal could both end up at Liverpool. The Reds have been watching.
Liverpool have been watching Dean Huijsen this season as they continue their search for a centre-back. The Bournemouth star is near the top of the shortlist - if not at the very top.

The BBC are among those reporting that Huijsen is a genuine target. His £50m release clause makes him an easy target.
And there’s a need for a new signing there. Ibrahima Konate’s contract enters the final year this summer, plunging the heart of the defence back into uncertainty.
This comes immediately after a year of Virgil van Dijk’s future being up in the air, of course. Liverpool may need to move on from Konate so to not lose him for free - and Anfield Watch understands that Paris Saint-Germain are very interested.
If Konate does indeed leave, Huijsen may well be the replacement.
But he’s not the only Bournemouth star Liverpool have eyes on. Antoine Semenyo is also in their sights should the Reds push for a winger this summer.
The Guardian claim that there have been scouts watching the player - Semenyo may well be one of the forward options as Liverpool try to retool their attack.

Bournemouth’s brilliant goal
The pair notably combined this weekend for Bournemouth’s second goal against Arsenal. The Cherries came from behind to beat the Gunners, with Huijsen getting the equaliser.
And it came from Semenyo’s incredible throw-in. The winger had the ball cover a remarkable 37 yards to find his teammate in the box, who directed a header inside the far post.
It’s a fantastic goal and the kind of unique threat Liverpool would want to bring to Anfield this summer. But it’s not even the only combination of Bournemouth stars that they’re watching.
The Reds also want Milos Kerkez, who plays alongside Huijsen on the left-hand side of Bournemouth’s defence. In fact, Semenyo plays a lot of his games in front of Kerkez - this could be a real triple-threat.
Now, we can’t imagine that Liverpool sign all three. It feels a bit ‘wrong’ for Richard Hughes to do that, given his previous links to Bournemouth.
It’s also ill-advised to simply sign a group of players from a worse side. Liverpool have little reason to believe that the left-hand side of Bournemouth’s team is better than theirs.

Two of them, though? That genuinely feels possible, with Huijsen and Kerkez looking like strong targets in particular.
