Ex-Everton star is now considering Liverpool transfer
Liverpool are looking at several star names ahead of the transfer window opening. Despite winning the Premier League title, Richard Hughes and Arne Slot are not standing still.

Attackers in the wide positions are no more secure. Luis Diaz is well-liked at Anfield but has a contract situation that is going to take some sorting out.
Currently earning £55,000 per week, it’s been reported that he would like a substantial pay rise before committing to a new deal. Liverpool don’t seem willing or able to match the 28-year-old’s demands right now.
And with his contract expiring in 2027 he will have to be SOLD sooner rather than later in order to avoid losing him on a free.
Federico Chiesa is another under scrutiny, with interest materialising in Serie A and now Tottenham also thought to be keen.

The 27-year-old African Footballer of the Year is a former Everton player - and has also had spells at Fulham, RB Leipzig and Leicester.
Currently starring for Italian side Atalanta, the Nigeria international has been tipped to move back to the North West this summer.
Liverpool 'an option' for Lookman
And now it’s been claimed by well-connected journalist Diego Otero that Liverpool are indeed an “option” for the winger who would consider the Reds should they make an offer for him.
“Ademola Lookman's departure from Atalanta is more than likely,” he wrote on X.
“No team has gone all out yet, and we're waiting to see how the market develops. Arsenal, Liverpool, or Manchester City would be some options for the Nigerian.”
