Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister is not only making headlines on the pitch, he's also making them for his heartfelt gestures off the field.
Mac Allister has been a crucial part of Arne Slot's squad this season. The midfielder has been a consistent presence in the team, contributing to the Reds’ impressive start to the season.
Away from the pitch, the Argentinian is in a happy relationship with his partner Ailen Cova and the couple often share glimpses of their relationship on social media.

Mac Allister's heartfelt post
Recently Ailen celebrated her 25th birthday and Macca went all out to celebrate the occasion. The World Cup winner shared a heartfelt tribute with his 7.7m Instagram followers to mark the celebration.
His post, translated, said: "Happy birthday, beautiful! Here’s to many more years of health, love, and being close to those who care for you. How wonderful it is to be by your side. I love you."
The post quickly received thousands of likes and was also given a warm show of support from Macca's teammate Darwin Nunez.
Ailen also shared how she spent the day on her own Instagram account.
Thoughtful gesture
Surrounded by love and friends, Ailen enjoyed a memorable celebration. Her day began with a sweet surprise when she found a heartfelt note from Mac Allister in the bathroom. The player had written, “I love you with all my heart, have a nice day,” in Spanish on a small piece of paper he’d left for her.
Her post caption, translated said: "I celebrated them very happily" and showed various memories of the day including flowers she had been sent, the not, which Macca said were song lyrics in a comment as well as celebrations with friends.
