Richard Hughes to receive £56m transfer BOOST
Liverpool are entering this summer with a transfer budget that's bigger than ever before.
It comes after a frivolous couple of windows that have been starved of transfer activity, as the club attempted to focus its energy on improving the players that were already on the books.

The summer of 2023 involved a significant midfield rebuild, but the winter of that year was quiet and Arne Slot was comfortable to only bring in Federico Chiesa for £12.5m alongside Giorgi Mamardashvili for £30m, although the Georgian remained at Valencia on loan for the season.
As such, two consecutive years of Champions League qualification, alongside a Carabao Cup win and a Premier League title win as left the club in an extremely positive financial situation.
Reports are suggesting that the Reds will receive a minimum bonus of £56m to spend this summer.
Liverpool's budget top-up for winning the Premier League
According to The Mirror, the Reds will earn a substantial amount of prize-money from this season for finishing top of the Premier League, with figure of £56.4m heading the club's way for their triumph.
This amount is because every team will receive at least £2.8m, with each place above 20th earning a multiplier of the number. For example, our £56.4m is 20 times the amount that Southampton will get.
In addition, every club in the Premier League was paid £8.2m from the 'central commercial revenue streams', which will likely involve purchased rights from the world feed that shows every game.
Furthermore, television rights will be divided between each of the clubs in accordance with how many games were shown on Sky Sports, TNT Sports or Amazon Prime Video. Given the team's success this season, that figure is also likely to be particularly high.
Beyond the confirmed £56m, the other amounts will not be released until the league's annual report is released, but Richard Hughes is set to receive a tasty bonus to add into the transfer budget.
Of course, the money is part of Liverpool's main revenue streams, so operating costs might be paid using the funds, but there should be little doubt about the club's financial capabilities this summer.

The budget was already considered to be 'heavyweight' and alongside a deal for Jeremie Frimpong which is all-but confirmed, the club is also heavily involved in negotiations for Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz, so there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic this summer, with more deals on the way.
