Liverpool deal gets go-ahead after star says YES
Liverpool are now heading towards yet another deal this summer after one star agreed to move. The Reds are remarkably busy in 2025.
Liverpool have signed two players in this transfer window and they're close to signing a third. Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi have arrived - now it's time for Florian Wirtz.

The German is expected to seal a move to Anfield within the next couple of days. Friday will be the medical and we'll just have to see how long things take after that.
But the wait is almost over for Liverpool's new record signing.
The Reds, though, haven't simply been singing players. They've already sold two: Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher.
More sales are on the way, too, in order to fund what should be an enormous summer. And they've just moved closer to a massive one.

Andy Robertson gives Atletico Madrid go-ahead
Sport reports that Andy Robertson has told Atletico Madrid to push ahead with a transfer. He's willing to move there and has verbally agreed to do so.
This is one that came as a shock to many this week. Robertson was not expected to depart this summer, with absolutely no suggestion of an exit as Liverpool wrapped the season up.
The Scot only has one year left on his contract, however, and the impending arrival of Milos Kerkez will push him down the pecking order. No one could really begrudge him a move to a major European club who are eager to have him.
The report states that Liverpool's asking price isn't supposed to be a problem for Atletico. There's no number mentioned - just that it won't be an issue.
And so this might be that, then. Robertson has given the go-ahead, Liverpool have a price in mind that the Spaniards can pay, and there's not much in the way of it all.
