Hugo Ekitike agrees enormous Liverpool contract
Hugo Ekitike has agreed a massive Liverpool deal.
For a while it seemed like the Reds were going after Alexander Isak, but the Frenchman has always been on the club's mind.
As Anfield Watch exclusively revealed Liverpool made contact to sign him back in April and held talks with his representatives expressing their desire to bring Ekitike in.
Since then, Liverpool have continued to monitor the market with Ekitike high up on the list of options. The Reds did look into signing Isak but it seems like that ship has sailed.
Instead Liverpool are now firmly looking to sign Ekitike to be their no.9.
And what a deal this could be. Ekitike is a special player. Someone who can be brilliant in his hold-up and link-up play and someone who is also an active goal threat capable of scoring a myriad of goals.
In the right team, Ekitike has the potential to explode and this is why Liverpool have decided in favour of signing him.

Obviously at this stage, Liverpool still have to reach an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt so everything is pending on the Reds' ability to strike a deal.
However, when it comes to Ekitike and his camp, they have been in talks with Liverpool for several months and at this stage it looks like they have made their choice in favour of the Reds.
In fact according to Fabrice Hawkins, Ekitike has already agreed an enormous contract with Liverpool. The French reporter claims that Ekitike has agreed a six-year contract with the club.
That's the longest contract Liverpool have signed with any of their summer arrivals and if it's true it goes to show just how much the club's recruitment team back Ekitike to succeed at the club.
They are absolutely right to back him. After all, Ekitike is one of the best young forwards in European football.
The prospect of him linking-up with Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah will be mouthwatering. Not to mention there is still a possibility of Liverpool signing Rodrygo, who could play on the left-wing.
If that front four is assembled with the rest of Arne Slot's squad looking in great shape, Liverpool will be very much on course to retain the Premier League title and lift the Champions League as well in the Puskas Arena next season.

Reading the magpies comments everywhere! They seem to think this was all a plan for us to pay over the top and not take there superstar issak! He's a quality striker but not a 100 million never-ending 150. Instead of them thinking they've pulled a fast one over on us they better remember footballs a large squad of quality not just a striker! There already flirting with psr. We spent zero last transfer. Now sadly we lose Diogo RIP. Our rebuild is not just rebuild for quality. But age and sad loss
about time still need another forward or are we banking on Rodrygo signing
