Don't forget, generational player is coming to Liverpool

Change is inevitable at Liverpool this summer.

The next few months are shaping up to be one of the most significant periods in the club's recent history.

After spending heavily last summer the club now appears to be entering another major transition, with multiple big names potentially heading for the exit door.

The most emotional departure will undoubtedly be Mohamed Salah. For nearly a decade, Salah has been the face of Liverpool’s attack and one of the greatest players in the club’s modern history. Replacing his goals, creativity and influence will be close to impossible.

His departure alone would completely reshape Liverpool’s frontline and force the club into making huge attacking decisions.

Alongside him, Andy Robertson will also move on. Robertson has been one of the defining players of the Klopp era, setting the standard with his intensity, leadership and consistency at left-back.

His energy and aggression became a massive part of Liverpool’s identity, so losing him would mark the end of another important chapter for the squad.

There is also growing uncertainty surrounding Alisson Becker.

Interest from Juventus is believed to be increasing, and while Liverpool would be reluctant to lose one of the best goalkeepers in world football, the possibility of a move can no longer be ignored. If Alisson leaves as well, Liverpool would suddenly lose three of the biggest leaders and most experienced players in the dressing room in one window.

The uncertainty does not stop there either. Questions remain over the futures of Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister, with both situations still unresolved heading into the summer.

Meanwhile, we still don't know what's going to happen to Ibrahima Konate - it could be anything at this stage.

All of it points towards another monumental transfer window for Richard Hughes. Liverpool’s sporting director faces the enormous task of rebuilding key areas of the squad while ensuring the club remain competitive during a period of huge change.

Thankfully, he has sorted some important decisions for the Reds. Jeremy Jacquet is going to be coming in and he is a really exciting addition.

But on top of that, there's another generational player coming to Liverpool who people shouldn't forget either.

Liverpool secured the signature of Ifeanyi Ndukwe in January and he will join the club this summer having now celebrated his 18th birthday.

The Austrian is a towering presence at the back. He won 79% of his defensive duels and 68% of his aerial duels at the U17 World Cup last year and led Austria to the final of the competition conceding just one goal in en route.

At 1.98 metres his physical profile is impressive. He’s quick for a centre-back and he's just very imposing.

Last weekend he made his senior debut for Austria Wien's first team - becoming the fourth youngest defender to debut for them in the 21st century.

He also had some really impressive numbers in Austria's second tier with Austria Wien's II team:

- Won 83.3% of his 4.63 defensive duels

- Won 4 aerial duels per 90

- 5.83 interceptions per 90

- 15.2 recoveries per 90

- 6.77 long passes per 90

Based on his height, physicality and those numbers, you can see that this is a generational player. And it's exciting to remind you that he is coming to Anfield.
