Brazil forward AUDITIONING for Liverpool deal
Liverpool may well be going back into the market for a new forward next summer.
Despite spending around £200m on new strikers in the 2025 summer transfer window we could see yet more arrivals up front. A serious injury to Alexander Isak has exposed a lack of depth at No9 - with Hugo Ekitike set for a busy few months.
And while the Premier League champions are unlikely to spend big in January there are indications that change may be afoot later in 2026.
The Reds could also be looking for a new right winger depending on what happens with Mohamed Salah.
With the Egyptian King’s future under severe scrutiny there could be space in the attack for a new performer in that position too.
Liverpool considering Real Madrid's Endrick
A report in Defensa Central now claims that the Anfield side have got Endrick in mind for a summer arrival.
The 19-year-old has endured a frustrating season thus far at the Bernabeu - only appearing three times from the bench in all competitions - and will spend the second half of the season on loan at Lyon.
Brazil international Endrick needs to get his career back on track if he is to stand any chance of making it to the FIFA World Cup and is expected to use Lyon as a springboard for that opportunity.
Endrick now auditioning for Liverpool role
But the report is also claiming that his Ligue 1 spell will also serve as an audition for a role at Liverpool next season.
“Liverpool… don't see it as a far-fetched idea that Endrick Felipe could become the star striker they need for next season,” the report reads.
“If things go well in Ligue 1, Endrick is a strong contender to replace Salah, whom they increasingly see as leaving the team, despite his contract renewal in April until 2027.”
Endrick's got HUGE potential
With Endrick capable of playing at No9 or on the right wing he could certainly prove to be a useful pickup in attack.
The teenager made his name with Palmeiras before completing a move to Madrid in 2024. However his stint in the Spanish capital has been far from successful.
Endrick however remains a player of devastating potential. If he can prove his worth at Lyon then there is a chance for Richard Hughes to steal in and cut a deal with Madrid.
