Many fans are expecting a tight affair, with the most nervous of score-lines, and that’s unsurprising. It’s never an easy experience at Old Trafford, and Manchester United will be fighting like their lives depend on it. Liverpool must be at their very best.

The first 20 minutes could be the most important, as Liverpool weather a potential storm. Start well, and the Reds could be in for an afternoon to remember. Fail to step on the front foot, however, and things may turn sour.
