Steven Gerrard has recently been appointed Aston Villa head coach.

With that being the case, an image of the former Red holding a Villa kit has been released.

All we will say is that it's strange to see Gerrard holding the shirt of another Premier League club.

The 41-year-old only played for one English team and that was Liverpool. On another note, we wish Gerrard all the best at Villa Park.

Liverpool will face Aston Villa on the 11th of December at Anfield. The Premier League fixture will kick-off at 03:00 pm.
