'Our best player': Some Reds thrilled with the performance of a 29-year-old against Brighton

Liverpool welcomed Brighton and Hove Albion to Anfield last weekend.

The Premier League fixture ended in a 2-2 draw. The Reds were clearly not at their best against the Seagulls.

However, Liverpool winger Sadio Mane impressed some of the Anfield faithful with his performance against Brighton.

As you can see below, the aforementioned supporters took to Twitter to praise the Senegal international for his display against Graham Potter's side.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We completely agree with the aforementioned supporters. Mane was exceptional against Brighton.

The winger scored a goal and registered a WhoScored player rating of 7.69 against the Seagulls.

To be fair, Mane has had a brilliant start to the 2021-22 campaign. The 29-year-old has found the back of the net seven times in 13 matches.

Therefore, we weren't surprised to see Mane perform well against Brighton last weekend.

Hopefully the Senegal international can keep up his good form and propel Liverpool towards a trophy or two this season.
