Mohamed Salah now has a multi-million offer on the table to exit Liverpool
Mohamed Salah's future has been a regular topic among Liverpool's ranks for the last couple of years.
Although the Egyptian King extended his contract at the end of last season, that doesn't mean that he's only allowed to move on when his contract expires in June 2027.
Most Liverpool fans were ecstatic about Salah staying with the club for another couple of years but, throughout the 2025-26 season, he's been a shadow of his former self.
In fact, he's even been left on the bench by Arne Slot during the Reds' last couple of games with Dominik Szoboszlai filling in for him on the right wing.
His absence from the team has obviously caused rumours about his future to emerge with a new report now sharing that he has an exit option on the table.
Galatasaray are ready to make a massive offer to prise Mohamed Salah away from Liverpool
Over the last few years, Salah has undoubtedly been one of the Reds' most important players.
The attacker was one of the main reasons behind Liverpool winning the Premier League last season with his 50 + goal contributions setting him apart from the rest of England's top flight.
These goal contributions were expected to carry on during the 2025-26 season but instead, he's been miles off the pace.
And now, it seems like some clubs are looking to take advantage of the Egyptian's current situation with a new report from Fichajes stating that Galatasaray are ready to make a bid for Salah.
The report starts by saying that Salah is 'ready' to begin his next chapter away from Liverpool.
An 'offer' for Salah in the January transfer window in expected from Galatasaray with the Turkish Super Lig outfit ready to make a 'lucrative' offer to entice him to exit Anfield.
Fichajes state that Galatasaray's interest first came to light after their Champions League encounter where Victor Osimhen led them to a 1-0 victory.
Salah's 'lack of consistent playing time' is one of the the main reasons behind the move with Galatasaray willing to offer him between Β£14.9 million and Β£16.4 million per season to make the switch.
Mohamed Salah isn't likely to exit Liverpool for Galatasaray, despite his poor form
With the current form that Liverpool find themselves in, rumours are bound to start popping up, especially since we're now less than a month away from the January transfer window.
Although most fans want to see players being brought in to try and help solve their problems, clubs from across the world are bound to try their luck with some of Slot's men.
Indeed, Salah may not have been in the best run of form since the start of the season but the fact that rumours of a potential move to the Turkish Super Lig are emerging feels like a stretch.
If money was the Egypt international's main motivation, he'd have chosen against extending his stay with Liverpool and he would've joined one of the many Saudi Pro League teams who were interested in him last summer.
Of course, if he fails to improve his form and is off the pace for the rest of the campaign, a potential transfer could be made in the summer but again, this feels unlikely.
However, one thing is certain and that is that, if Salah doesn't start firing soon, his starting place upon his return from AFCON may no longer be guaranteed.
