Mohamed Salah bags 150th Premier League goal for Liverpool
Mohamed Salah has reached yet another landmark, scoring his 150th Premier League goal for Liverpool during the side's 4-2 victory over Newcastle on New Year's Day.
The decisive goal came in the 49th minute after an earlier penalty miss in the first half. He seized the opportunity presented by Darwin Nunez's low cross to calmly slot home a close-range tap-in.
Then, four minutes from the end of the game, the Egyptian atoned for his earlier penalty miss to score his second of the game and extend his tally further, to 151.
In achieving this feat, Salah cemented his status as only the fourth player in Liverpool's history to score 150 top-flight goals, following in the footsteps of Gordon Hodgson, Roger Hunt and Ian Rush.
The Egyptian was the third-quickest to achieve the feat, completing it 238 games, compared to 218 for Hunt and 234 for Hodgson.

His strike against Newcastle also marks Salah as just the fifth player in Premier League history to reach the illustrious 150-goal mark for a single club.
The 31-year-old follows in the footsteps of Tottenham's Harry Kane (213), Manchester City's Sergio Aguero (184), Manchester United's Wayne Rooney (183) and Arsenal's Thierry Henry (175).
