The Reds' first-team is also home to a number of now very well-established academy graduates with the likes of Curtis Jones and Conor Bradley playing a key role for Arne Slot's side.

They may be joined by others soon. Trey Nyoni is making excellent progress, Jayden Danns has the potential to go all the way to the very top of the game and there's the emergence of exciting talents like Erik Farkas and Joshua Abe currently making a breakthrough in the club's U18 side.

Now it's time to introduce La'more Forrester, who is also a name keeping an eye on and who is regarded as a sensational young talent.

At just 15-years, one month and nine days old, he became the second youngest player ever to play for Liverpool's U18 side all the way back in 2023.

Forrester picked up a serious injury in the aftermath of his debut which has meant he's had to wait until this season to finally break into the U18 side.

Still only 16-years-old and a first-year scholar, this is by no means an underachievement. He's exactly where he is supposed to be for his age-group.

Although he might not be with the U18s for very long.

Forrester has started the season with three goals in five games and has averaged a goal every 97 minutes for the young Reds. At the same time, he also hit a hat-trick and registered two assists against Aston Villa in the U17 Premier League Cup.

What stands out about Forrester is his incredible speed. He brushes past his opponents with ease and in his age-group he's the fastest player by far in the U18 Premier League this season.

He's probably the fastest player Liverpool's academy has boasted since Raheem Sterling, and there are shades of the England international in his style of play.

Sterling went onto break plenty of records in Liverpool's academy and in the first-team so that is a very good omen for Forrester.

He's certainly got a huge career ahead of himself, and with Slot looking to add speed to the Reds' senior team, he'll be keeping a close eye on the development of the 16-year-old.

Perhaps after Ngumoha, Forrester could be the next one to be promoted. He's one to keep a close eye on.
