Liverpool's incredible leaked Adidas kits for 2026/27 season looks unreal
Liverpool returned to Adidas this season after a long partnership with Nike as the club's kit supplier.
The first adidas collaboration was brilliant with the German sportsband bringing back an iconic fan favourite home kit and some astonishing away kits as well.
The 13-year hiatus saw Adidas become Liverpool’s supplier for a third time, following a deal worth over £60m per year with the German manufacturer.
It's an incredibly exciting time, with the Reds having previously been supplied by Warrior, New Balance and Rebook.
But the new Adidas collaboration gives the brand to go back to its roots at Anfield.
And despite there still being many months until Liverpool unveil their new home shirt, there's some exciting leaks hinting towards an incredible new look.
2026/27 Adidas home shirt leak
Footy Headlines leaked the first real image of Liverpool's new adidas home shirt and it will be a throwback to the iconic 'Candy' sponsored kit from adidas' first collaboration with Liverpool.
It's a lot of fans' favourite shirt, and it used to be worn by John Barnes and Ian Rush during the club's final league title win prior to the Premier League.
The design marks a shift from recent simplicity, embracing a more distinctive and expressive style.
The shirt is expected to feature a rich “Active Maroon” base, a darker, deeper take on Liverpool’s traditional red, paired with clean white detailing across logos and accents.
One of the standout elements is the inspiration drawn from the club’s iconic 1989–91 home kit.
The new design reportedly incorporates a subtle pattern that pays homage to that era, blending nostalgia with a modern Adidas aesthetic. This nod to history aligns with a wider trend of clubs revisiting classic designs while updating them for a new generation such as the current kit which is a throwback to the 2006-08 adidas shirt.
Compared to the 2025/26 kit, the upcoming version is expected to feel bolder and more visually striking, with stronger patterns and a clearer identity.
It reflects a broader direction under Adidas, who appear keen to experiment more with Liverpool’s traditional look while still respecting the club’s heritage.
The kit is anticipated to be officially released in the summer of 2026, likely around May or June, in line with typical launch windows.
While leaks should always be taken with caution, early impressions suggest Liverpool could be set for one of their most distinctive home shirts in years, one that looks unreal and potentially one of the club's most incredible kits to date.
