Liverpool's attack will be set for a decade with sensational double transfer.

It’s obvious that Reds are focused on building with the long-term in mind at the moment. Richard Hughes’s strategy has been evident in the profile of players brought in over the summer.

Signings such as Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Giovanni Leoni, Armin Pecsi, and Will Wright were all under 23 at the time of their arrival, highlighting a clear emphasis on youth and potential.

That trend continued in January, with Liverpool adding more young talent to the ranks.

Ifeanyi Ndukwe, Mor Talla Ndiaye, and Jeremy Jacquet all fall under a similar age bracket, reinforcing the club’s focus on building a squad capable of sustaining success for years to come.

This ambition is set to carry on into the summer transfer window, where the priority is expected to be strengthening the attacking department.

Liverpool need to add depth on the flanks. They will also likely need to replace Mo Salah, who could be on the move with just one year left on his contract.

It's clear that right now Arne Slot's side need more speed and one vs one ability in attack, particularly on the flanks.

So, here's what will set them up for years. Two signings. An incredible double transfer that is straight out Hughes' playbook.

Last season, when Liverpool needed to sign two attackers, what did he do?

He got the two best no.9s on the market. Hugo Ekitike was the first one through the door, and he is by far one of the best young forwards in European football at the moment.

Alexander Isak followed after him, who is just the best no.9 on the planet right now. Even with his injury problems.

So, this summer, who are the two best wingers on the market?

The first one who could be available is Michael Olise. He makes so much sense as the man to replace Mo Salah. Olise is Premier League proven, he has been one of the best players in Europe's top five leagues for many years now and he's still very young at 24-years-old.

His one vs one ability is exactly what Liverpool need right now. On top of that he is also an elite creator who could feed the likes of Isak and Ekitike and help in the Reds' lack of ability to create chances and breakdown rigid low-block defences.

Olise is very much the Isak of this summer's window for Liverpool. He is on a long-term contract until 2029 at Bayern Munich. It won't be easy to convince them to sell.

But like with Isak it's always possible. Hughes proved that.

So Olise is Liverpool's Isak, but who is the Ekitike of this summer for the Reds?

It's simple. Yan Diomande.

The RB Leipzig winger is one of the most exciting young talents in world football right now. He is one of the best one vs one specialists in Europe's top five leagues.

On top of that he is incredibly fast and he looks like he could become one of the best wingers in world football one day.

At 19-years-old, he has everything to go all the way. He plays for a club in Leipzig, where Liverpool like to shop and on top of that he has already admitted that his father's dream is for him to join the Reds.

That's why this is a move that would make so much sense.

And together, an Olise and Diomande double transfer will set up Liverpool's attack for years and years to come.

Just imagine the prospect of those two with Isak and Ekitike upfront and Rio Ngumoha and Joshua Abe behind them coming through the ranks.

It's mouthwatering.
